Fort Mill EMS is an independent, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and receives no tax funds from York County or the Town of Fort Mill. The primary source of income is derived from fees for EMS transport. Our charges are targeted to be lower than other agencies providing similar services.

The second key source of income comes from generous public support in the form of donations. There are two fundraising letter drives each year. All revenues are used to pay operational and capital expenses. Funds remaining after expenses are put back into the organization as directed by Fort Mill EMS's Board of Directors.
