Rebecca began her EMS career in 1996 while in college. She was also cross-trained, and served as an EMT and participated in training missions while serving as a combat photographer in the Air Force. Rebecca spent some time in corporate America in another career after finishing college, but has now found her way back to EMS. She has been a paramedic with FMEMS since January 2018. She earned board certification as both a critical care paramedic, and a flight paramedic in 2020. Rebecca has two teenagers, Alex and Olivia, who have been homeschooled since 2013. When she’s not working or studying, Rebecca enjoys all things outdoors, especially running, yoga, and relaxing on the boat with her husband Patrick.
CJ
Paramedic
CJ is a paramedic with over 25 years of experience in public safety. She obtained certification as an Emergency Medical Technician in Wilmington, N.C. many years ago after witnessing a horrific traffic accident involving a young teen. She felt helpless and knew after watching the paramedics at the scene that she wanted to learn how to help.
CJ began volunteering with Fort Mill Rescue in 1996. She later moved on to pursue a career in Emergency Medical Services. She obtained her paramedic certification from Midlands Technical College and worked for Piedmont Medical Center EMS for 20 years, 10 of those in management. She left the corporate environment and found her way back to Fort Mill EMS 2 years ago. She is delighted to return to her roots and serve the community again.
CJ holds numerous career related medical and technical credentials. She also attended the highly recognized UNCC Management Institute for EMS.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband Thomas and her 5 dogs. She is the mother of 2 grown sons, Jacob and Joshua and is an avid football fan…Go Gamecocks!

Jamie Clark joined Fort Mill EMS in 2017 after serving in Richland County, SC. He has been a paramedic in 2012. He is originally from Massachusetts and hold a BS in Exercise Science from University of South Carolina.

Laurie joined Fort Mill EMS in 2014. She is a native of Maryland where she worked 10 years in billing and coding for a 5-doctor pediatric practice. She handles accounts receivable, accounts payable, purchasing and general administrative duties. She is also a certified EMT. She is married with 4 children and enjoys being a "band mom".
